Jesus knowing it, said to them, Why trouble ye the woman?


For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence and given to the poor. And they murmured at her.


For ye have the poor always with you, and when ye will, ye may do them good; but me ye have not always.


Now there was at Joppa, a certain disciple, named Tabitha, which is by interpretation Dorcas; this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.


For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.


And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that having always all sufficiency in all things, ye may abound to every good work:


For we are his workmanship, created through Christ Jesus unto good works, which God had before prepared, that we might walk in them.


That ye may walk worthy of the Lord, unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;


Comfort your hearts and stablish you in every good word and work.


having been the wife of one husband, Well reported of for good works, if she hath brought up children, if she hath lodged strangers, if she hath washed the feet of the saints, if she hath relieved the afflicted, if she hath diligently followed every good work.


To do good, to be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate,


If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, consecrated and fit for the master's use, prepared for every good work.


That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.


Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify to himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.


in doctrine, uncorruptness, seriousness, Sound speech that cannot be reproved;


And let ours also learn to excell in good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.


This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, to the end that they who have believed in God, be careful to excel in good works: these things are good and profitable to men.


to provoke one another to love and to good works:


Make you perfect in every good work, to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight thro' Christ Jesus; to whom be the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
