Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,


he is risen from the dead, and therefore these mighty powers exert themselves in him.


But when Jesus heard, that John was cast into prison, he retired into Galilee.


From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
