For to every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not, shall be taken away even what he hath.


But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand) then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains:


For I say unto you, To every one that hath shall be given: but from him that hath not, even what he hath shall be taken away from him.


he said to his disciples, Let these sayings sink down into your ears; for the Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men.


and every one that beareth fruit, he purifieth it, that it may bear more fruit.


Immediately therefore I sent to thee, and thou hast done well in coming. Now therefore we are all present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee by God.


These were more ingenuous than those of Thessalonica, receiving the word with all readiness of mind, and daily searching the scriptures, whether those things were so?


And I say, through the grace which is given to me, to every one that is among you, not to think of himself above what he ought to think, but to think soberly, according to the measure of faith which God hath distributed to every one.


If any one think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you, are the commandments of the Lord.


Let none deceive himself: if any one among you thinketh himself to be wise, let him become a fool in this world, that he may become wise.


Knowledge puffeth up, but love edifieth. And if any one think he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.


Though I might have confidence: if any man think that he may have confidence in the flesh, I more: Circumcised the eighth day,


Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
