For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother and sister and mother.


While he yet spake, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them, and behold a voice out of the cloud which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I delight: hear ye him.


But he said, Yea, rather blessed are they, that hear the word of God and keep it.


If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.


He is like a man, who built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream broke vehemently upon that house, but could not shake it; for it was founded on a rock.


Those on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. But they have no root, who for a while believe; but in time of temptation fall away.


And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundred fold. And saying these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.


My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.


If ye know these things, happy are ye, if ye do them. I speak not of you all:


If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter,


Yet ye will not come to me, that ye may have life.


He that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.


All that the Father giveth me, will come to me, and him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out.


Then said the Jews to him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead and the prophets; yet thou sayest, If a man keep my word, he shall never taste of death.


became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey him,


Therefore to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin.


To whom coming as unto a living stone, rejected indeed by men,


Wherefore the rather, brethren, be diligent to make your calling and election firm; for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall.


If ye know, that he is righteous, ye know that every one who doth righteousness is born of him.


Beloved children, let no one deceive you. He that practiseth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.


Happy are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.
