And Jesus said to them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Saducees.


Then spake Jesus to the multitudes and to his disciples, saying, The scribes and Pharisees sit in the chair of Moses:


And he charged them, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the leaven of Herod.


Wo to you, Pharisees; for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues,


In the mean time, an innumerable multitude being gathered together, so that they trod one upon another, he said to his disciples first, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.


And he spake a parable to them that were invited, when he marked how they chose the chief seats,


Who devour widows houses, and for a pretence make long prayers; these shall receive greater damnation.


In brotherly love be full of tender affection toward each other, in honour preferring one another:


Of whom be thou also aware; for he hath greatly withstood our words.


I wrote to the church; but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, receiveth us not.
