And Jacob begat Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.


And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall save his people from their sins.


And Simon Peter answering said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.


Then charged he his disciples, to tell no one, that he was the Christ.


And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?


And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us, in the house of his servant David:


And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.


And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,


He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith to him, We have found the Messiah (which is, being interpreted the Christ.)


Philip findeth Nathanael and saith to him, We have found him, whom Moses in the law and the prophets described, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.


Believest thou this? She saith to him, Yea, Lord, I believe thou art the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.


But these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye may have life thro' his name.


The woman saith to him, I know that the Messiah is coming, who is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.


because of his word, And said to the woman, We no longer believe, because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.


Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we have believed and known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.


Others said, This is the Christ.


This is the word which he sent to the children of Israel, preaching the glad tidings of peace through Jesus Christ; He is Lord of all.


Of this man's seed hath God, according to his promise, raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus;


Opening them and evincing, That Christ ought to suffer, and to rise from the dead, and that this is the Christ, even Jesus, whom I declare unto you.


Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, That God hath made this Jesus whom ye crucified, both Lord and Christ.


Him hath God exalted, a Prince and a Saviour with his right-hand, to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.


The first man was from the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.


And every tongue might confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord in the glory of God the Father.


Yea doubtless, and I account all things to be loss, for the excellency of the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do account them but dung,


As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him;


And we have seen and testify, that the Father sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.


Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one who loveth him that begat, loveth him also that is begotten of him.
