So likewise will my heavenly Father do to you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.


Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing; but the flesh is weak.


And he said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves:


Or those eighteen, on whom the tower in Siloam fell and slew them, suppose ye, that they were sinners above all that dwelt at Jerusalem?


and found them sleeping for sorrow, And said to them, Why sleep ye? Rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.


Those on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy. But they have no root, who for a while believe; but in time of temptation fall away.


I do not pray, that thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil one.


There hath no temptation taken you, but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above your ability, but will with the temptation make also a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.


Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.


But the Lord is faithful, who will stablish and guard you from the evil one.


And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom; to whom be the glory for ever, and ever.


For judgment without mercy shall be to him that shewed no mercy: mercy glorieth over judgment.


Fear none of those things which thou art about to suffer: behold the devil is about to cast some of you into prison that ye may be tried, and ye shall have affliction ten days: Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.


Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee, from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
