For he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder, by him, and the fetters broken in pieces; and no man could tame him.


Wherein were all four-footed creatures of the earth, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.


And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: it is the tongue among the members which defileth the whole body and setteth on fire the course of nature, and is set on fire of hell.


But the tongue can no man tame: it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
