But those things which proceed out of the mouth, come out of the heart, and they defile the man.


These are the things which defile a man; but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.


Then was Jesus led up by the Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the devil.


But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh upon a woman to lust after her, hath already committed adultery with her in his heart.


For sin taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me.


Was then that which is good made death to me? God forbid: But sin: so that it appeared sin, working death in me by that which is good: so that sin might by the commandment become exceeding sinful.


concerning your former conversation, the old man, which is corrupt, according to the deceitful desires:


But exhort one another daily, while it is called to day, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin:


Let no man when he is tempted say, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.


Then desire having conceived, bringeth forth sin; and sin being perfected, bringeth forth death.
