4 And to keep back part of the price of the land? While it remained, did it not remain thine? And when it was sold, was it not in thy power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thy heart? Thou hast not lied to men, but to God.

But meat commendeth us not to God; for neither if we eat, are we the better, nor if we eat not, are we the worse.


He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man but God; who hath also given you his Holy Spirit.


But I would do nothing without thy consent; that thy good deed might not be, as it were, by constraint, but willingly.


Then desire having conceived, bringeth forth sin; and sin being perfected, bringeth forth death.
