The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but wo to that man, by whom the Son of man is betrayed: it had been good for that man if he had not been born.


And coming out of the tombs after his resurrection, went into the holy city, and appeared to many.


And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.


Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?


to understand the scriptures, And said to them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:


No one taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.


Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, tho' he die, yet shall he live;


And because he raised him up from the dead, no more to return to corruption, he spake thus, I will give you the sure mercies of David.


and the Gentiles, to whom I now send thee, To open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God; that they may receive through faith which is in me, forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among them that are sanctified.


What? Is it judged by you an incredible thing, that God should raise the dead?


But God hath thus fulfilled the things which he foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer.


Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and them that followed, whosoever have spoken, have also foretold these days.


For I delivered to you first, that which I also received, That Christ died for our sins,


Whose unbelieving minds the god of this world hath blinded, lest the illumination of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them.


who is the beginning, the first-begotten from the dead, that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.


For it became him for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the captain of their salvation through sufferings.
