But as the disciples stood round about him, he rose and went into the city; and the next day, he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.


they fled to Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia,


And he came down to Derbe and Lystra. And behold a certain disciple was there, named Timothy, the son of a certain Jewess that believed; but his father was a Greek:


And having gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, being forbid by the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,


And taking their journey through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.


But when the Jews of Thessalonica knew that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea also, they came thither likewise, and stirred up the multitude.


And the whole city was filled with confusion; and they rushed with one accord into the theatre, dragging with them Gaius and Aristarchus, men of Macedonia, Paul's fellow-travellers.


Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and dwellers in Mesopotamia, and Judea,


For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, that he might not spend any time in Asia; for he hasted, if it were possible, to be at Jerusalem on the day of Pentecost.


And when they were come to him, he said to them, Ye know in what manner I have conversed among you, all the time from the first day I came into Asia,


For they had before seen Trophimus the Ephesian with him in the city, whom they supposed Paul had brought into the temple.


And going aboard a ship of Adramyttium, that was to sail by the coasts of Asia, we set sail, Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.


Timothy my fellow-labourer, and Lucius, and Jason, and Sosipater my kinsmen salute you.


Caius, my host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus, a brother.


Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timotheus our brother, to the church of God that is in Corinth, with all the saints that are in all Achaia:


For Jesus Christ the Son of God, who was preached among you by us, by me, and Silvanus, and Timotheus was not yea and nay; but was yea in him.


But that ye also may know my affairs, how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known to you all things.


Now I trust in the Lord Jesus, to send Timotheus to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged, when I know your state.


Aristarchus, my fellow-prisoner, saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas; (touching whom ye have received directions, if he come to you,


All my concerns will Tychicus declare to you, a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord:


Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Saviour,


which is by Jesus Christ, To Timotheus, my beloved son, grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.


Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.


Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus I have left at Miletus sick.


When I shall send Artemas or Tychicus to thee, be diligent to come to me to Nicopolis; for I have determined to winter there.


Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-labourers.


The elder unto the well-beloved Caius, whom I truly love.
