He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.


And coming out, he could not speak to them; and they perceived, that he had seen a vision; for he beckoned to them, and remained speechless.


And his mercy is on them that fear him, from generation to generation.


But the other answering, rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?


A devout man, and fearing God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.


But in every nation, he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted by him.


But he beckoning to them with his hand, to be silent, declared to them, How the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Shew these things to James and to the brethren.


Men, brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.


Then Paul and Barnabas speaking boldly, said, It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold! we turn to the Gentiles.


And they thrust Alexander forward from among the multitude, the Jews pushing him on; and Alexander, waving with his hand, would have made a defence to the people.


Then Peter standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said to them, Men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known to you, and hearken to my words.


Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man pointed out to you of God, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God wrought by him in the midst of you, as yourselves also know:


And when he had given him leave, Paul standing on the stairs, waved his hand to the people: and a great silence being made, he spake to them in the Hebrew tongue, saying,


And they heard him to this word, and then lifted up their voice and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth; for it is not fit that he should live.


And Peter seeing it, answered the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? Or, why do ye fix your eyes on us, as if by our own power or piety, we had made this man to walk?


He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that overcometh shall not be hurt by the second death.
