Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, in the days of Herod the king, behold wise men came from the East to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born king of the Jews?


And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.


And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man, sitting on the right-side, clothed in a white robe; and they were affrighted.


And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.


And in these days, Peter standing up in the midst of the disciples, (the number of persons together was about an hundred and twenty) said,


Then the disciples determined to send relief, every one according to his ability, to the brethren who dwelt in Judea: Which also they did,


And being come and having gathered the church together, they related all that God had done with them, and that he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.


And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren.


And the brethren having heard of us, came out thence to meet us, some as far as Appii Forum, and others to the Three Taverns, whom when Paul saw, he thanked God and took courage.
