For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.


But they held their peace; for they had been debating among themselves in the way, Who should be greatest?


receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not only me, but him that sent me.


and sat him by him, And said to them, whosoever shall receive this child in my name, receiveth me; and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.


In brotherly love be full of tender affection toward each other, in honour preferring one another:


who is the beginning, the first-begotten from the dead, that in all things he might have the pre-eminence.


Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God:


We ought therefore to receive such, that we may be fellow-helpers to the truth.
