whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame;


Concerning whom we have many things to say, and hard to be explained, seeing ye are become dull of hearing.


A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.


Peter an Apostle of Jesus Christ to the sojourners scattered thro' Pontus,


And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, to them who stumble, not believing the word, whereunto also they were appointed.


But there were false prophets also among the people, as there shall likewise be false teachers among you, who will privily bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.


Having eyes full of adultery, and that cease not from sin; beguiling unstable souls, having hearts exercised with covetousness, accursed children:


Wherefore, beloved, seeing ye look for these things, labour to be found of him in peace, without spot and blameless.


That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first,


For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were of old described before with regard to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
