Come to me, all ye that labour, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.


And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and in deep anguish.


Rejoice and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.


My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.


and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.


And the angel said to them, Fear not; for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.


And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh from you.


I have spoken these things to you, that ye may have peace in me. In the world ye shall have tribulation; but take courage: I have overcome the world.


Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith; and that we must through many tribulations enter into the kingdom of God.


Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, continue instant in prayer.


And not only so, but we also glory in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.


By whom also we have been introduced through faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.


That I have great sorrow and continual anguish in my heart.


For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh out for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory:


As sorrowing, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.


But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, fidelity,


For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because ye had heard that he was sick.


beware of the concision, For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the spirit, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.


Rejoice in the Lord always: again, I say, rejoice.


And ye became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost.


My brethren, count it all joy, when ye fall into divers temptations, Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience.


Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:


Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into heaviness.


For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well-doing than for evil-doing.


But the end of all things is at hand; be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.


Now the God of all grace, who hath called us by Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, after ye have suffered a while, himself shall perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
