The next day he seeth Jesus coming toward him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world.


And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to me.


because of his word, And said to the woman, We no longer believe, because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.


Wherefore it behoved him to be made in all things like his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high-priest, in things pertaining to God, to expiate the sins of the people.


Who himself bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we being dead to sin might live to righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.


For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh,


But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.


And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.


Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son, a propitiation for our sins.


And we have seen and testify, that the Father sent his Son to be the Saviour of the world.


but he that is born of God keepeth himself, and the wicked one toucheth him not. We know, that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in the wicked one.


And the great dragon was cast out, the antient serpent, who is called the devil and satan, who deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out unto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
