Who is this Son of man? Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness overtake you, for he that walketh in darkness, knoweth not whither he goeth.


He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their hearts, that they might not see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and be converted, that I might heal them.


But their understandings were blinded: and until this day the same veil remaineth unremoved on the reading of the old testament, which is taken away in Christ.


Whose unbelieving minds the god of this world hath blinded, lest the illumination of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them.


For we also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, inslaved to various desires and pleasures, living in wickedness and envy, hateful, hating one another:


But he that wanteth these is blind, not able to see afar off, having forgotten the purification from his old sins.


If we say we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth.


He that loveth his brother, abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him.


He that saith, he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now.


Whosoever hateth his brother is a murtherer, and ye know that no murtherer hath eternal life abiding in him.


If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar; for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God, whom he hath not seen?


Because thou sayst, I am rich, and have inriched myself, and have need of nothing, and knowest not, that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
