My God is my rock, in Him I take refuge, my shield, my horn of salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my Savior—You save me from violence.


He wanders about for bread— ‘Where is it?’ He knows that the day of darkness is at hand.


Shaddai, we cannot find Him! He is great in power and justice, and abundant righteousness He does not oppress.


A psalm of David. I will sing of lovingkindness and justice. To You, Adonai, I will sing praises.


Yet He saved them for His Name’s sake, to make His mighty power known.


Though I walk amid trouble, You revive me. You stretch out Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand delivers me.


Make me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You I trust. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.


They declare the glory of Your kingdom and speak of Your might,


For You make them turn their backs. You aim Your bowstrings at their faces.
