My enemies taunt me all day. My deriders use my name to curse.


Why should the nations say: “Where is their God now?”


These things I remember as I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go along with the throng, walking with them to the House of God, with a voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping a festival.


Why are You downcast, O my soul? Why are you murmuring within me? Hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, the salvation of my countenance.


Why should the nations say: “Where is their God?” Before our eyes, let it be known among the nations that You avenge the shed blood of Your servants.


For I will restore health to you and will heal you of your wounds.” It is a declaration of Adonai. “For they called you an outcast: ‘Zion—no one cares about her.’”


“Indeed, I will bring it health and healing, and I will surely heal them. I will reveal to them an abundance of shalom and truth.
