A perverse person sows strife, and a gossip separates close friends.


Without wood a fire goes out; without gossip quarrels cease.


Then the Pharisees went and plotted how they might trap Him with a word.


They became filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice. They are gossips,


For I am afraid that perhaps when I come, I may find you not as I wish, or I may be found by you not as you wish—that there may be strife, envy, outbursts of anger, self-seeking disputes, lashon ha-ra , gossip, arrogance, unruly commotions.
