Abraham said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” So King Abimelech of Gerar sent for and took Sarah.


Now there was a famine in the land—aside from the previous famine that happened in Abraham’s days. So Isaac went to King Abimelech of the Philistines, to Gerar.


From my birth I have leaned on You. You took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise is always about You.


My mouth is filled with Your praise and with Your glory all day.


Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but one who trusts in Adonai will be kept safe.


But about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
