Before ruin a person’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor.


A rich person is wise in his own eyes, but a discerning poor person sees through him.


For wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter, but the advantage of knowledge is this: wisdom preserves the life of the one who possesses it.


Thus says Adonai: “Let not the wise boast in his wisdom nor the mighty boast in his might nor the rich glory in his riches.
