So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, growing very numerous.


But they lie in wait for their own blood. They ambush their own lives.


The wages of the righteous are life. The income of the wicked is sin.


One who sows injustice will reap trouble, and the rod of his fury will perish.


The iniquities of a wicked man will ensnare him. The cords of his sin will hold him down.


Whoever digs a pit may fall into it, and whoever breaks through a fence may be bitten by a snake.


Their heart became smooth. Now they will bear their guilt. He will break down their altars. He will destroy their sacred pillars.


“The reaper receives a reward and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the sower and reaper may rejoice together.


With respect to your former lifestyle, you are to lay aside the old self corrupted by its deceitful desires,


And the fruit of righteousness is sown in shalom by those who make shalom.
