The words of Nehemiah son of Hacaliah: Now it happened that in the month of Kislev in the twentieth year, while I was in Shushan the capitol,


I was not in Jerusalem during all this, for in the thirty-second year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon, I went to the king. After a period of time, I requested to take leave from the king


Then in the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King Artaxerxes, when wine was set before him, I took the wine and gave it to the king. I had not been sad in his presence before.


“Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them and gained five more.


What then is my reward? That when I preach, I may present the Good News free of charge, not making use of my right in the Good News.
