Would you cast lots for an orphan, and barter over your friend?


O daughter of Babylon, the devastated one, happy is the one who repays you as you have paid us.


Happy is the one who seizes your little ones and dashes them upon the rock.


to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron,


Their babes will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be plundered, and their wives ravished.
