When he had begun to settle up, a man was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.

And calling ten of his own slaves, he gave them ten minas and said to them, ‘Do business until I come back.’


“Why do you call Me ‘Master, Master’ and do not do what I say?


For the mindset of the flesh is hostile toward God, for it does not submit itself to the law of God—for it cannot.


But who in the world are you, O man, who talks back to God? Will what is formed say to the one who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?”
