Now when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground to Adonai.


“Your servant, our father, is well,” they said. “He’s still alive.” Then they knelt and bowed down.


Yet I have preserved seven thousand in Israel whose knees have not bowed to Baal and whose mouth has not kissed him.”


Would it turn out well if He examined you? Could you deceive Him as you deceive a man?


When I put on sackcloth, I became a joke to them.


By Myself I have sworn— the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness, and is irrevocable: that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear.


Thus says Adonai, the Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, to the One despised, to the One the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: “Kings will see and arise, princes will also bow down, because of Adonai who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel who has chosen You.”


I gave My back to those who strike, and My cheeks to those pulling out My beard; I did not hide My face from humiliation and spitting.


Just as many were appalled at You— His appearance was disfigured more than any man, His form more than the sons of men.


But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah— least among the clans of Judah— from you will come out to Me One to be ruler in Israel, One whose goings forth are from of old, from days of eternity.


They spat on Him, and they took the staff and beat Him over and over on the head.


They will mock Him and spit on Him, scourge Him and kill Him. Yet after three days, He will rise again!”


Some began to spit on Him, to blindfold Him, and to beat Him with their fists, saying, “Prophesy!” Also the guards slapped Him around.


And they began to salute Him, “Hail, King of the Jews!”


When they finished mocking Him, they stripped the purple off Him and put His own clothes back on Him. And they led Him out to crucify Him.


Now He told them, “Indeed Elijah comes first; he restores all things. And how is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be treated with contempt?


Now the men who were guarding Yeshua began mocking and beating Him.


Now Herod together with his soldiers were treating Him with contempt and mocking Him. They put splendid clothing on Him and sent Him back to Pilate.


The soldiers likewise mocked Him, coming up and bringing Him sour wine,


But what is the divine response to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”


that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth,


So let us go to Him outside the camp, bearing His disgrace.
