News about Him spread throughout all Syria. And they brought to Him all the sick—those tormented by various diseases and afflictions, those plagued by demons, the epileptics, the paralyzed—and He healed them.


When Shabbat was over, Miriam of Magdala, Miriam the mother of Jacob, and Salome bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Yeshua’s body.


After He had risen early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Miriam of Magdala, from whom He had driven out seven demons.


Now a great multitude of people was following Him, including women who were mourning and singing dirges for Him.


But all Yeshua’s acquaintances, and the women who were following Him from the Galilee, were standing at a distance, watching these things.


The women who had come with Him from the Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how His body was laid.


Yeshua questioned him, “What is your name?” “Legion,” he said, for many demons had entered him.


Standing near the execution stake of Yeshua were His mother, His mother’s sister, Miriam the wife of Clopas, and Miriam from Magdala.


All these with one mind were continuing together in prayer—along with the women and Miriam, Yeshua’s mother, and His brothers.
