But answering, Yeshua said to them, “You’ve gone astray, because you don’t understand the Scriptures or the power of God.


And calling them over, Yeshua said to them, “You know those recognized as rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones play the tyrant over them.


Yeshua said to them, “Isn’t this the reason you’ve gone astray, because you don’t understand the Scriptures or the power of God?


“Now the master praised the crooked manager because he had acted shrewdly, for the sons of this age are smarter when dealing with their own generation than the sons of light.


But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”


and come out! Those who have done good will come to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil will come to a resurrection of judgment.


In God I have a hope—which these men also wait for—that there will surely be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.


So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were considered worthy to be dishonored on account of His name.


This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. (
