In the Tent of Meeting, outside the curtain which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons will set it in order, to burn from evening to morning before Adonai. It will be a statute forever throughout their generations, on behalf of Bnei-Yisrael.


“Order Bnei-Yisrael to bring to you pure olive oil, beaten for the light, to keep a lamp burning continually.


He is to keep the lamps in order on the pure gold menorah before Adonai continually.


“It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you must eat neither fat nor blood.”


So you are to attend to the Sanctuary and the care of the altar, so no further wrath will fall on Bnei-Yisrael.


and the lamp of God had not yet gone out. Samuel was lying down in Adonai’s Temple, where the ark of God was.
