He purchased the portion of the field there where he had pitched his tent from the sons of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for 100 pieces of money.


Now I myself give you one portion more than your brothers, that which I took from the hand of the Amorites with my sword and my bow.”


For the message he declared by the word of Adonai against the altar in Bethel, and against all the shrines of the high places which are in the towns of Samaria, will surely come to pass.”


He sent messengers before Him, and they went and entered a Samaritan village to make His arrangements.


You’re not greater than our father Jacob, are You? He gave us this well. He drank out of it himself, with his sons and his cattle.”


Many of the Samaritans from that town put their trust in Him because of the word of the woman testifying, “He told me everything I ever did!”


Now Jacob’s well was there. So Yeshua, exhausted from the journey, was sitting by the well. It was midday.


for His disciples had gone away to the town to buy food.


Joseph’s bones, which Bnei-Yisrael had brought up from Egypt, they buried in Shechem, in the parcel of ground that Jacob had bought from the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for 100 pieces of silver. It became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
