Therefore many of the Judeans, who had come to Miriam and had seen what Yeshua had done, put their trust in Him.


If we let Him go on like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our holy place and our nation.”


So the ruling kohanim made plans to kill Lazarus also,


It was also for this reason that the crowd came out to meet Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.


Nevertheless many, even among the leaders, put their trust in Him. But because of the Pharisees, they were not confessing Yeshua, so they would not be thrown out of the synagogue;


Yet many from the crowd believed in Him and were saying, “When the Messiah comes, He won’t perform more signs than this person has, will He?”


When the Jewish leaders saw the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and tried to contradict what Paul was saying by reviling him.
