“I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.


just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.


No one takes it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it up again. This command I received from My Father.”


Now an argument came up between John’s disciples and a Judean concerning purification.


You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your companions.”


But we see One who was made for a little while lower than the angels—namely, Yeshua. He is now crowned with glory and honor, because of the death He suffered so that, by the grace of God, He might taste death for everyone.
