Job 42:7
13 Tagairtí Cros

Adonai said to the satan, “Did you notice my servant Job? There is no one like him on the earth—a blameless and upright man, who fears God and spurns evil.”

Then, Zophar the Naamathite answered and said:

When Job’s three friends heard about all this calamity that had come upon him, each of them came from his own place—Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite. They met together to come and mourn with him and to comfort him.

He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered by the cleanness of your hands.”

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, his anger was aroused.

Then Eliphaz the Temanite responded and said:

Then Job answered Adonai. He said:

Job answered Adonai and said:

Therefore I despise myself, and repent on dust and ashes.”

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
