Benaiah son of Jehoiada answered the king and said: “Amen! Thus says Adonai, the God of my lord the king.


Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Then all the people said “Amen,” and “Praise Adonai.”


Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel, from everlasting even to everlasting! Let all the people say, “Amen!” Halleluyah!


You uphold me in my integrity and set me before Your face forever.


Blessed be His glorious Name forever. May all the earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen!


How Your enemies have mocked, Adonai, how they have mocked the footsteps of Your Anointed One!


Then I will fulfill the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is today.’” In response I said, “Amen, Adonai.”


As for me, I have not run away from being a shepherd after You, nor have I desired the woeful day. What came out of my lips You know—it was before You.
