He turns rivers into a wilderness and springs of water into thirsty ground,


He turns a desert into a pool of water, a dry land into springs of water.


Blessed is one whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the pilgrim roads.


until the Ruach is poured out on us from on high, and the desert becomes a garden, and a garden seems like a forest.


I will plant in the wilderness the cedar and the acacia tree, the myrtle and the olive tree. I will set in the desert the cypress tree and the pine together with the box tree—


I will lay it waste: it will not be pruned or hoed, but briers and thorns will come up. I will also command the clouds not to rain on it.


Instead of the thorn bush, a cypress will come up, and instead of the brier, a myrtle will come up, and it will be a memorial to Adonai, as an everlasting sign that will never be cut off.”


Briefly Your holy people possessed it— our foes have trampled Your Sanctuary.


For Bnei-Yisrael will remain for many days without king, without prince, without sacrifice, without sacred pillar, and without ephod or teraphim.


Therefore, because of you Zion will become a plowed field. Yes, Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins, and the Temple Mount will become a high place in a forest.

For thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot: “In just a little while I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land,


But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”


Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to people producing its fruits.


For yet “in a very little while, the Coming One will come, and He will not delay.
