And these are the genealogical records of Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Sons were born to them after the flood.


So all of Jared’s days were 962 years, and then he died.


So all of Methuselah’s days were 969 years, and then he died.


And Noah was 500 years old when he fathered Shem, Ham and Japheth.


So all Adam’s days that he lived were 930 years, and then he died.


Now Noah lived 350 years after the flood.


The span of our years is seventy —or with strength, eighty— yet at best they are trouble and sorrow. For they are soon gone, and we fly away.
