When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute because she had covered her face.


“I will send you a young goat from the flock,” he said, “Provided you give a pledge until you send it,” she said.


But when she brought them close to him to eat, he grabbed her and said to her, “Come lie with me, my sister.”


To all prostitutes gifts are given—but you gave your gifts to all your lovers! You bribed them to come to you from every side in your harlotry.


and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they weighed out thirty shekels of silver for him.
