My heart’s desire is to make you into a great nation, to bless you, to make your name great so that you may be a blessing.


My desire is to bless those who bless you, but whoever curses you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.


That is why the well is named, the Well of the Living One Who Sees Me. (Behold, it is between Kadesh and Bered.)


But God said, “On the contrary, Sarah your wife will bear you a son and you must name him Isaac. So I will confirm My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his seed after him.


I will richly bless you and bountifully multiply your seed like the stars of heaven, and like the sand that is on the seashore, and your seed will possess the gate of his enemies.


Adonai has blessed my master very much so that he has become great, and He has given to him flocks of sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male slaves and female slaves, camels and donkeys.


Now Isaac had come from visiting Beer-lahai-roi and was living in the land of the Negev.


Then Isaac sowed in that land and in that year reaped a hundredfold. Adonai blessed him


Live as an outsider in this land and I will be with you and bless you—for to you and to your seed I give all these lands—and I will confirm my pledge that I swore to Abraham your father.


Then Joseph said to his brothers, “I’m about to die. But God will surely take notice of you and will bring you up from this land to the land that He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.”


His offspring will be mighty in the land. The generation of the upright will be blessed.
