“For the entrance of the tent, also make a screen of blue, purple and scarlet, finely twisted linen, the work of a color weaver.


You are to put them into one basket and present them, along with the bull and the two rams.


“Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water.


He hung the curtain over the entrance of the Tabernacle.


When they went into the Tent of Meeting and when they came near to the altar, they washed, just as Adonai had commanded Moses.


Then I will sprinkle clean water on you and you will be clean from all your uncleanness and from all your idols.


Once the kohanim enter, they are not to go out of the holy place into the outer court without leaving there their garments in which they minister—for they are holy. They will put on other garments and approach the area for the people.”


“The one to be cleansed must wash his clothes, shave off all his hair, and bathe himself in water. Then he shall be clean. After that he may come into the camp, but is to dwell outside his tent for seven days.

So let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and body washed with pure water.


Corresponding to that, immersion now brings you to safety—not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but a pledge to God of a good conscience—through the resurrection of Messiah Yeshua.
