You planted them, so they have taken root. They are growing, bearing fruit. You are near in their mouth, yet far from their mind.


Whether they listen, or whether they will refuse to listen—for they are a rebellious house—they will know that a prophet was among them.


So they come to you, as people come, and sit before you as My people and hear your words—but they do not do them—for with their mouth they express doting love, but their heart goes after their own dishonest gain.


When this comes to pass—behold, it is coming—they will know that a prophet has been among them.”
