Yes, you yourselves planned evil against me. God planned it for good, in order to bring about what it is this day—to preserve the lives of many people.


But answering, Yeshua said to them, “You’ve gone astray, because you don’t understand the Scriptures or the power of God.


But Yeshua said, “I tell you, Peter, a rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”


Now Pilate called together the ruling kohanim, the leaders, and the people.


how the ruling kohanim and our leaders handed Him over to be sentenced to death, and they executed Him.


“But all these things they will do to you for the sake of My name, because they do not know the One who sent Me.


They will do these things because they have never known the Father or Me.


You search the Scriptures because you suppose that in them you have eternal life. It is these that testify about Me.


So Yeshua said, “When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know who I am. I do nothing by Myself, but speak just what the Father has taught Me.


For Moses from ancient generations has had in every city those who proclaim him, since he is read in all the synagogues every Shabbat.”


They set a day to meet Paul and came to him at his quarters in large numbers. From morning until evening he was explaining everything to them, testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them about Yeshua from both the Torah of Moses and the Prophets.


“Now brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders did.


For I do not want you, brothers and sisters, to be ignorant of this mystery—lest you be wise in your own eyes—that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in;


None of the rulers of this age understood it—for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.


But their minds were hardened. For up to this very day the same veil remains unlifted at the reading of the ancient covenant, since in Messiah it is passing away.


In their case, the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so they might not see the light of the Good News of the glory of Messiah, who is the image of God.


even though I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and a violent man. Yet I was shown mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,
