One who winks an eye maliciously causes grief, while a babbling fool comes to ruin.


The wise in heart accept commands, but a babbling fool comes to ruin.


Hear the word of Adonai, you who tremble at His word: “Your brothers who hated you, excluding you for My Name’s sake, have said, ‘Let Adonai be glorified, that we may see your joy’— but they will be put to shame.”


Blessed are you when people hate you, and when they exclude you, and revile you, and spurn your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.


His parents said this because they were afraid of the Judean leaders. For the Judean leaders had already agreed that anyone who professed Yeshua to be Messiah would be thrown out of the synagogue.


In those days, Peter stood up among the brothers and sisters (the number of names all together was about a hundred and twenty) and said,


I spoke a warning, when I was with you the second time. Though now I am away, I am again speaking a warning to those who have sinned before, as well as to all the rest, that if I come again, I will not spare anyone—


Therefore, whenever we have an opportunity, let us do good toward all—especially those who belong to the household of faith.


And at the same time, they also learn to be idle, going around from house to house—and not just idle, but also gossipers and busybodies, saying things they should not.


If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not welcome him into your home or even give him a greeting.


Although I have much to write to you, I don’t want to do it with paper and ink. But I hope to come to you and speak face to face, so that our joy may be full.


For I was overjoyed when some brethren came and testified of the truth in you—how you are walking in truth.


Loved ones, you are acting faithfully in whatever you do for the brethren and especially for strangers.
