By your sword shall you live, and your brother shall you serve. But when you tear yourself loose, you will tear his yoke off your neck.”


Then he stationed garrisons in Edom. Throughout all Edom he stationed garrisons, so that all the Edomites became vassals to David. So Adonai gave victory to David wherever he went.

So the king of Israel, the king of Judah and the king of Edom marched. They kept circling roundabout for seven days, but there was no water for the army or for the animals that followed them.


So Edom kept rebelling from under the hand of Judah to this day. Then Libnah also revolted at the same time.
