You lift me up on the wind and make me ride on it; You toss me about in the storm.


how much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, who are crushed before the moth?


You have recorded my wanderings. You put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?


Like a shepherd’s tent, my dwelling is pulled up and carried away from me. Like a weaver I rolled up my life. He cuts me off from the loom. From day until night You make my end.


“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this Temple made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.’”


However, Elyon does not dwell in man-made houses. As the prophet says,


For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.


But we have this treasure in jars of clay, so that the surpassing greatness of the power may be from God and not from ourselves.


For we groan while we are in this tent—burdened because we don’t want to be unclothed but to be clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.


In Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision done not by hand, in the stripping away of the body of the flesh through the circumcision of Messiah.


For this reason I also am suffering these things—but I am not ashamed, for I know in whom I have trusted and I am convinced He is able to safeguard what I have entrusted to Him until that Day.


For he was waiting for the city that has foundations, whose architect and builder is God.


But when Messiah appeared as Kohen Gadol of the good things that have now come, passing through the greater and more perfect Tent not made with hands (that is to say not of this creation),


For Messiah did not enter into Holies made with hands—counterparts of the true things—but into heaven itself, now to appear in God’s presence on our behalf.


An incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading inheritance has been reserved in heaven for you.


Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people should you be? Live your lives in holiness and godliness,


We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers and sisters. The one who does not love remains in death.


By this we shall know that we are of the truth, and set our heart at rest before Him


Loved ones, now we are God’s children; and it has not yet been revealed what we will be. But we do know that when it’s revealed, we shall be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.
