Solomon accumulated chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, and he stationed them in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.


He also built the Forest House of Lebanon: its length was 100 cubits, its width 50 cubits and its height 30 cubits, built on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.


Now it came to pass, when Solomon had finished building the House of Adonai, the royal palace and all that Solomon was pleased to do,


Solomon accumulated chariots and horsemen. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horsemen, which he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king in Jerusalem.


So Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful. He built forts and storage cities in Judah


He built up Tadmor in the wilderness and all the store cities that he built in Hamath.


He also built upper Beth-horon and lower Bet-horon as fortified cities with walls, gates and bars,


All the people that were left of the Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, who were not of Israel,


I increased my possessions. I built myself houses and I planted myself vineyards.
