He built the inner court with three rows of cut stone and a row of cedar beams.


The surrounding great courtyard had three rows of cut stone and a row of cedar beams, the same as the inner court of the House of Adonai and the portico of the House.


When Solomon finished praying this entire prayer and petition to Adonai, he arose from before the altar of Adonai, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread out toward heaven.


Then he made the courtyard of the kohanim and the great courtyard and doors for the courtyard. He overlaid the doors with bronze.


Then he stood before the altar of Adonai in front of the entire congregation of Israel and spread forth his hands.


At the time of the evening offering, I rose up from my self-abasement with my garment and robe torn, then I bowed down on my knees and spread out my hands to Adonai my God.


Upon hearing these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days. I prayed and fasted before the God of heaven.
