Then she gave the king 120 talents of gold, a great quantity of spices, and precious stones. Never again did such abundance of spices come as what the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.


They brought, each man his gift—vessels of silver and gold, robes, weapons, spices, horses and mules—so much year by year.


“‘The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will take root downward and bear fruit upward.


Adonai highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had never been on any king before him in Israel.


Now Solomon the son of David firmly established himself over his kingdom. For Adonai his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.


Some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents and silver for tribute. The Arabs also brought him flocks—7,700 rams and 7,700 he-goats.


So Adonai established the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah brought tribute to Jehoshaphat so that he had great riches and honor.


Everyone brought his tribute—vessels of silver, vessels of gold, garments, armor, spices, horses and mules—in the due amount each year.


Blessed be Adonai, the God of our fathers, who has put it into the heart of the king to beautify the House of Adonai in Jerusalem in this way


Your God commanded your strength. Strengthen, O God, You who have acted for us.


May kings of Tarshish and the islands bring tribute, kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.


For wrath upon man will bring You praise, a remnant of wrath You put on as a belt.


And when they came into the house, they saw the Child with His mother Miriam; and they fell down and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
